Monday, May 27 - BOLDERBoulder 10k

Sophie’s Neighborhood is a beneficiary of the BolderBoulder! Thanks to the kindness of our community we have 25 volunteers helping out in the race, which in turn, generates contributions from the event organization to us! THANK YOU for your support! Cheer on the Sophie’s Neighborhood runners and volunteers if you see them along the route. We’ll be at the stadium following the race to help with clean up efforts!

Bites with Butchers Benefit, June 26 Blackbelly Market Denver

Bites with Butchers is a butchery demo and tasting series at Blackbelly Market Denver, that benefits various local and national nonprofit organizations. Join us on 6/26 as Michelin Award winning Head Butcher, Kelly Kawachi will expertly break down a McDonald Family Farm pork shoulder, while discussing cooking methods, sourcing, shopping for and consuming meat & more!

Bites & beverages will be served inspired by this cut of meat. Following the demo, guests may purchase freshly butchered cuts off the pig. Those sales, as well as a portion of all ticket proceeds, benefits our rare disease research.

Saturday, July 27 - Sophie’s Ride & The Hogback Twister Challenge ~ Motorcycle Ride and After Party Fundraiser

with Hogback Whiskey, Vahana Magazine, Foothills BMW/Triumph

This summer party fundraiser brings together motorcycle enthusiasts from across the country for an exquisite ride through the canyons of the Colorado foothills. This will be followed by a party with live music, food and beverage - all supporting our rare disease research. Riders will have the option of joining the Hogback Twister Challenge: 9 canyons in 9 hours, or a shorter ride held by Vahana Magazine.
